- Sea water: Scientists have estimated that water occupies 70.7% of the earth’s surface in the form of five oceans and their various seas, bays and straits. Water is life, and life began in seawater. Although the curative effects of seawater have been recognised since ancient times in the form of seawater cures and spas, its use for therapeutic purposes was experience-based only until the end of the 20th century. The regenerative and remineralising properties of seawater make it a particularly interesting ingredient to work with.
- Glycerine: Glycerine attracts water like a magnet. This effect is desirable because it makes this ingredient one of the best moisturizers of all.
- Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera reduces itching, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory and moistureretaining effect. It has only a very low irritation potential and is therefore unproblematic for sensitive and irritated skin. Allergic reactions are also extremely rare.
- Ectoin: The natural active ingredient Ectoin® is obtained from microorganisms that live in extreme environments (e.g. in geysers, salt lakes or in the ice of the Arctic). The Ectoin® formed in the micro-organisms protects them from the extreme environmental factors prevailing there. Ectoin® is used in cosmetics because it has caring, anti-inflammatory and protective properties. Cells are stabilised by Ectoin® and thus protected against harmful environmental influences such as UVA and UVB radiation.
- Panthenol: Panthenol is also called provitamin B5 or dexpanthenol. The skin calming effect is clinically proven. It increases skin hydration and supports our skin barrier. Panthenol is also very helpful before and after sunbathing. Panthenol promotes the production of skin cells. Only in this way can our body form new skin. Two different types of skin cells are needed: fibroblasts and keratinocytes. The more of these cells are produced, the faster our body can develop new skin. Irritations subside much faster
- Pumkin seed extract: is rich in vitamin E, zinc, omega 3- and 6- fatty acids as well as antioxidants, therefore it has tremendous benefits for the skin in terms of retaining moisture, fighting free radicals and maintaining a youthful appearance.
